Overview
Challenge Mode consist of a series of modifications to the Story Mode worlds that refreshes every 30 minutes. All challenges take place in Nightmare Mode in the Story Mode and have no changes to the total waves in a game. There are a total of 8 different challenge types in game, each influencing negatively in the game. This gamemode can be found in both World 1 and World 2.
Can now choose between 2 different challenges. There also is a "Daily Hunt" mode in challenges, that lets you choose an item that you want a boosted drop off, including pearls, technique shards, etc. This stage is 25 waves long and you get the rewards progressively. (not all at the last wave).

Barebones
Extreme decrease in enemy health, units are returned to their initial stats. (No trait, enchants and skill tree bonuses, Units keep their levels). : 3/8 bad Modification Its best if you solo this because enemies will get tanky with multiple players.
Tower Limit
Each player can place a maximum of 5 Units (which means characters with Overlord or better will benefit in this). : 8/8 best Modification
Flight
There are only flight-type enemies that spawn. : 7.5/8 Very Good Modification
However, enemies' HP is moderately decreased than normal.
No Hit
Base is configured to have 1 HP and enemies get +(unknown)% increased hp. : 8/8, Best Modification
Speedy
Enemies movement speed increased during the game. 5/8 Mid Modification
High Cost
The cost of deploying and upgrading units increased by 33%. : 1/8 worst Modification
Short Range
Range of all units is reduced by 33%. : 3/8 Bad Modification
Immunity
Most status effects do not affect enemies (ex: Burn, Bleed). : 3/8 Bad Modification
However, HeavenlyChad and Surgeon of Death's abilities still can affect them. Strongest Sorcerer (Unsealed)'s slowing bubble still slows enemies too.
