Elemental Cavern is a game mode added in the World 2 update.
This game mode can be obtained by unlocking World 2.

Cavern Information

There are two paths in all types of Cavern. Enemies will first spawn in the first path, whereas the second path is sealed, until it is opened at Wave 5. At certain waves, Guardian Crystals will spawn. Guardian Crystals are high in HP and will buff enemies by increasing enemies' health. Upon Destroying Guardian Crystal, All enemies -25% Health. The sequence of enemies/crystal spawning is as follow:

  • First Path: Wave 1-5, Wave 11-15, Waves 21, 23, 25, 27, 29
  • Second Path: Wave 6-10, Wave 16-20, Waves 22, 24, 26, 28, 30
  • Guardian Crystal Spawn: Waves 6, 14, 15, 20, 28, 30

Cavern expansion is a gamemode that allows you to choose up to 5 elemental essences at once, at the cost of 1 extra path (per essence selected) for enemies to come out of and 20 less maximum/minimum essences per run

  • First path: Wave 1-30
  • Second path: Wave 3-30
  • Thirds path: Wave 5-30
  • Fourth path: Wave 8-30
  • Fifth path: Wave 9-30
  • Guardian crystals spawn: Waves 5, 7, 14, 20, 21, 23, 29,
